Isabel Dart

MA, LPCC

I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and self-esteem concerns, neurodivergence, relationship and family challenges, and life transitions. My experience working with people across a wide range of ages, identities, and life experiences has shaped my belief that therapy should be individualized to the person sitting in front of me rather than approached as one-size-fits-all.

My approach is primarily grounded in humanistic and feminist perspectives, while also integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic approaches based on what feels most useful for each client. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I value exploring the relationships, identities, environments, and experiences that have shaped how you understand yourself. I approach this work with warmth, curiosity, collaboration, and authenticity, balancing deeper exploration with practical tools that can support you in your everyday life.

I believe therapy can hold difficult and vulnerable conversations without needing to feel serious every second, and light humor is an important part of how I connect with clients. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine and comfortable, where you can better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and make choices that feel aligned with your own values. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, cooking, learning about history, spending time with my pets, and am always open to a good book recommendation.
