Sophia Markey

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) with a master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Denver. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, panic, grief, trauma, depression, neurodiversity, and identity-related challenges.

I am especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community and survivors of sexual violence, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, affirming, and supportive.

 

My approach is strengths-based, person-centered, psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed. I value flexibility, humor, and creativity in the therapy process, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs and goals. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful healing and growth.
